Hurrah! Recycle Livingston will now be accepting sorted and clean #5 plastics. Please keep them sorted from the other plastics we accept. Membership to Recycle Livingston is required for plastic recycling and our new food composting program. It is one of the ways we can control any contamination issues.
Another change: Please keep all magazines separated from mixed paper and brought in different containers. All books, both hard and soft covered, also need to be brought in separated from mixed paper and magazines. BKI Recycling is our newest vendor, and the profit margins are much better if these materials are kept separated. We truly appreciate the extra effort you are giving us so we may continue to move recycling forward.
